While the logistical challenges slightly improved compared to the previous year, the situation remained far from ideal and continued to place further pressure on planning and shipping schedules.<\/p>\n<p>Notwithstanding the above challenges, the PPECB managed to inspect and monitor the export of more than 4.1 million pallets of perishable produce to markets across the globe. I am also delighted to announce the update of the Perishable Products Export Control (PPEC) regulations during the year under review. This is essential to align with best practice and to ensure that we deliver quality produce to international markets.<\/p>\n<p>In closing, I wish to thank the PPECB Board members for their support.
